Rock Climbing Photography Pack

MY ROLE

Growing up, all my friends were rock climbers. They’d go to the local gym and boulder indoors for hours. But as we all grew up, they started to venture outdoors to the bigger crags and rocks with all the gear to keep them safe. Even though it was never my hobby, I absolutely loved all the photos they'd come back with.

Climbing and photography both require a lot of gear. It became very difficult for my friends to get everything they needed for a climb while also documenting it quickly as they hiked to the spot. There were packs for photography and there were packs for climbers, but there wasn’t a pack for both.

Wanting to better the climbing photography hobby, we set out to design a pack that could carry all the gear needed for a climb as well as protect and provide quick access to camera gear.

PROBLEM NO. 1

Cameras are fragile and hard to access quickly or easily.

Swivel the camera bag around and get that perfect picture.

PROBLEM  NO. 2

Ropes are heavy and hard to pack.

Drape 'em over,

and sinch 'em down.

PROBLEM  NO. 3

There is a lot of gear to manage and carry.

Carabiner everything that does not fit to the daisy chain.
